Workshop Description

Taking inspiration from research in intercultural differences, we will map our differences along several intercultural orientations, in particular: High/Low Context, Hierarchy and Decision Making, And I-do / What-I-do Feedback; Multi/Mono Time Planning. Starting with these intercultural habits and expectations, the course will build on our experience of intercultural characteristics and stereotypes. We will present theories, models and key concepts of interpersonal and intercultural communication in order to become more curious in finding common ground and flexibility with the different cultural orientations
